Festivals
The Buxton International Festival takes place during the 10th and 27th of July 2025. The town has a real buzz as Festival goers enjoy opera, music, books and Jazz.
Alongside the main festival there is also a fringe festival which showcases a wide range of events across the town in a range of venues
Later in the Summer the International Gilbert and Sullivan festival comes to town and the town fills up again with people from across the globe
Attractions
There are lost of other things to do and top go the list is the Opera House and Arts Centre that also contains the local cinema. On Monday nights the Buxton Film club hosts a range of arts house movies.
Then there is the Pavilion Gardens complex where there are a range of events always on offer from music in the park to popular antiques and crafts fairs.
